A suspected drug dealer has been arrested after police stopped and searched his vehicle.

The 20-year-old from Basildon, Essex, was stopped in Brittains Lane in Sevenoaks at about 12.45am last night after reports of suspicious behaviour.

Officers found 10 wraps of white powder, believed to be cocaine.

He was arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs with intent to supply.

He remains in custody.
