A stunning seven-bed mansion has gone up for sale - offering a rare glimpse of the most exclusive street in Kent.
Phillippines Shaw is a gated community in Ide Hill, Sevenoaks, lined with luxurious homes.
The original estate was built by renowned portrait painter Joshua Wilson Faulkner in 1834.
In 2006, permission was granted for it to be redeveloped, with a number of older buildings removed to make way for the construction of eight new-build detached dwellings.
According to Zoopla, the homes inside now have an average value of £4.15 million - the highest in the county.
Its wrought-iron gates mean it's not exactly the sort of street you can just take a stroll down.
But last month the owners of a huge detached home inside the countryside estate put their house on the market for £2.95 million, offering a sneak peek at life within the gated complex.
The property, designed in a modern Georgian style, was built in 2008 by developers Millgate Homes.
It sits on the former site of a hunting lodge where Henry VIII is reported to have met with Anne Boleyn before their marriage.
The house boasts a fitted kitchen by interior designer Mark Wilkinson, with under-floor heating and integrated sound system throughout, seven bedrooms and a billiards room.
Both the kitchen and orangery lead out onto the south-facing terrace, landscaped gardens and private woodland.
In all, the grounds cover about 3.2 acres, with additional access to the estate's 25 acres of communal woodland, which includes attractive walks and children's play areas.
If stumping up the deposit for this house is beyond your reach, there is also a three-bedroom flat available for rent - albeit at £1,950 a month.
A separate "lustworthy" property within the Phillippines Shaw estate featured in a "houses of the week" feature published by The Times earlier this year.
The sought-after location is less than a mile from Ide Hill Church of England Primary School and is 3.4 miles from Sevenoaks railway station.
The seven-bed house was listed on Zoopla on October 6 and has been viewed 569 times in the past 30 days.
