Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a second blaze in one day at a property on Watery Lane, Kemsing.
Flames broke out in a wall void and crews used fogspike to pierce a hole in the wall and extinguish it.
The fire is thought to be linked to another in the property's fireplace earlier in the day.
Crews want to remind everyone that used a fireplace to get the chimney swept and checked at least once a year.
