A man is in critical condition after being assaulted after a fight at a pub.

The incident reportedly took place on Friday (December 20) in Fullers Hilll near to Westerham Club and the high street.

The victim was reportedly punched at around 11.50pm following an earlier verbal altercation between two groups at the George and Dragon pub.

Police and paramedics attended and the victim, aged in his 20s, was taken to a London hospital after suffering a serious head injury.

He remains in a critical condition and five men have been arrested in connection with the incident.

The suspects are all currently bailed pending further inquiries.

Police are appealing to anyone with information which may assist the investigation to contact them.

They are also urging residents and businesses, as well as drivers who may have been in the area, to check for any important CCTV and dashcam footage.
