Five men have been charged after a home, shops and petrol stations were burgled across West Kent.
The men, four from Croydon and one of no fixed address, targeted buildings in the Sevenoaks and Gravesend areas.
The group were charged with conspiracy to commit burglary at a property in Leander Drive, Gravesend, on May 6; a petrol station in Seal Road, Sevenoaks, on August 15; a newsagent in Hever Road, West Kingsdown, on August 17, and petrol stations in St John’s Hill, Sevenoaks, and London Road, Westerham, both on August 18.
They were charged with committing the same offence at shops in High Street, Sevenoaks, and Hever Road, West Kingsdown, both on September 5.
The men, arrested on October 31 during a joint operation between the Kent and Metropolitan police forces were Anthony Patton, of Queen Elizabeth’s Drive, Luke Ballard, 20, of King Henry’s Drive, Ashley Davey, 27, of Broadcombe, Kenny Davey, 24, of no fixed address, and Ricky Parrat, 24, of Leigh Crescent.
They have also been charged by the Metropolitan Police with a further 24 counts of conspiring to commit burglaries across residential and business premises in areas including Croydon, Orpington and Bromley.
All the men have been remanded in custody to appear at Croydon Crown Court on Wednesday, November 30.
