A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after being involved in a crash with a car in Five Oak Green this morning.

Five Oak Green Road was closed between Whetsted Road and Hartlake Road in the neighbouring village of Tudeley after the accident, which happened just after 7.40am.

The road has now been reopened and the motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, has been taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital with leg and chest injuries.

Elsewhere, London Road in Southborough is currently closed northbound due to a collapsed manhole cover between Western Road and Holden Road.
