An 18th-century watermill in a town centre is on the market for nearly £400,000.
The Grade II-listed site in Edenbridge High Street was built in the mid-1700s and was used to mill flour until 1919, before shutting in 1968 due to a flood that fractured the pit wheel.
The following year, it was converted into a restaurant before later being turned into a three-bedroom home.
The property is currently used as open-plan office space but has been granted permission for change of use to residential.
It is now on the market for around £390,000 with one estate agent describing it as “a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to become the proud owner of one of the most beautiful properties in Edenbridge”.
The property still has its original water wheel and overlooks the millpond.
On the ground floor there is a reception hall, toilet and utility room while the first floor features an open plan living, dining and kitchen area as well as a bedroom and shower room.
The second floor is the main bedroom with an en-suite shower, second bedroom, bathroom and office.
It is being sold by auctioneers Clive Emson.
