FOUR PEOPLE, believed to be two adults and two children, were killed when their car was involved in a crash with a lorry on the M25 in Kent.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly before 10.30am on Tuesday following the accident which happened just before junction five on the anti-clockwise carriageway near Sevenoaks.
A lorry was in collision with a Volkswagen car. The driver of the lorry, a man in his 50s, was taken to hospital suffering from chest injuries and shock.
Traffic around the scene of the collision was congested and Kent Police urged motorists not to travel in the area unless absolutely necessary.
Police officers from Kent’s serious collision investigation unit are continuing their enquiries into the cause of the tragedy.
