Four fire engines tackle Sevenoaks roof fire

Fire crews and four fire engines tackled an accidental roof fire this morning.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to the house blaze at Wickhurst Road, Sevenoaks, just before 11.30am.

Crews wore breathing apparatus while using hose reel jets and main jets to extinguish the flames.

No injuries were reported and the cause is believed to be accidental.

KFRS’ volunteer response team was also on hand to provide support to affected residents.
