Gymnasts and their coaches from the Next Dimension Gymnastic Academy (NDGA) in Tunbridge Wells will be donning their capes and wearing their pants over their clothes to raise money for Children in Need.

Following the lead of celebrities such as Olympian gymnast Louis Smith, 007 star Daniel Craig, and legendary crooner Tom Jones, coaches at the NDGA are encouraging their gymnastic students to be a fancy dress superhero for the day.

Between November 10 and November 15 the group will be raising money to help improve the lives of disadvantaged children across the UK.

Superheroes are asked to donate £2 or whatever they can towards Children in Need.

Others will spend their time making and baking a cake to enter into the Bake Sale for Children in Need. All proceeds from the sale will go directly to charity.

The NDGA’s operations manager, Chantelle Harman, said: “These two fundraising activities are a fun and entertaining way to help raise funds for a really worthwhile cause.

"We hope that as many of our gymnasts and coaches as possible will accept the superhero and baking hero challenges.”
