You can be among the first to read the new novel by Victoria Hislop.
The Sevenoaks Bookshop has arranged an evening with the author to be held at the Stag Theatre in the town on Tuesday (May 28).
The entry fee of £26 includes a signed edition of the best-selling author's latest work Those Who Are Loved which is not officially published until two days later.
Mrs Hislop is married to the comedian and TV presenter Ian Hislop of Have I Got News For You fame. The couple live in Sissinghurst and are frequent VIP guests opening local fetes and events in Cranbrook and Sissinghurst.
Victoria Hislop's debut novel The Island sold more than two million copies, and other novels such as The Return and The Sunrise have been similarly well received.
Her latest book is a family saga set in Athens that ranges from the 1930s through to the present day.
She will be interviewed on the night by BBC South East Today reporter, broadcaster, actor and writer, Claudia Sermbezis. Miss Sermbezis' father was born in Thessaloniki and grew up in Athens. Her grandfather was imprisoned on Makronisos, which forms the backdrop to Those Who Are Loved.
Tickets for the 7.30pm show are available from The Stag's box office on 01732 450175.
