A hotel guest has been arrested and charged by police with burglary.
The arrest, at a hotel in Bromley, is in connection with a break in which occurred in Chipstead Park Close, Sevenoaks, between December 2 and 5, during which items of jewellery were reported stolen as well as an Audi TT parked in a garage.
Inquiries led officers to the Avis Hotel in Rodway Road, Bromley, where on December 29 they gained access to a room occupied by 32-year-old Freddie Webb.
He was arrested and later charged with an offence of burglary and theft.
Webb, of Shakespeare Road, Worthing, Sussex, was remanded in custody to appear before Maidstone Magistrates’ Court today.
