Firefighters have battled a blaze at a house near Sevenoaks this afternoon.
Video footage showed smoke billowing from the property in Comp Lane, Platt.
The fire service was called at around 2.45pm and four fire engines were sent to the scene.
Crews arrived to find the fire spreading to the roof of the single-storey building.
A nearby resident shared film of the incident, in which he can be heard saying: "There's a house on fire literally there look, by ours.
He added: "Loads of people have been running up here and fire engines and everything.
"It's really foggy and horrible."
Firefighters used ladders, hose reel jets and a high pressure fan to extinguish the flames.
No casualties were reported and the cause is not yet known. It is thought the occupants were out at the time and returned while the fire was raging.
The fire was out by 4.30pm.
