Hundreds returned for a village's lights festival despite the stormy weather.
The community celebration took place in Wrotham, near Sevenoaks on Friday and featured lanterns, fireworks and live entertainment.
Covent Garden street-act Sergio Baros opened the night with magic tricks at Saint George’s Church.
He was joined by drummer Bloco Fogo Samba who played Brazilian carnival beats, and a Folk in Fusion act led by Dhol drummer Bill Singh and Djembe performer Lucky Moyo.
A lantern parade then followed and was headed by the Mayor of Tonbridge and Malling, Cllr James Lark.
He was joined by Saint George’s Primary School headteacher Elizabeth Rye, pupils and parents as they guided the attendees to Wrotham cricket ground.
A colourful fireworks display in the night sky closed the evening.
Wrotham Festival of Light is a village tradition that has been hosted by community organisation, Cohesion Plus for more than 10 years.
Artistic Director of the organisation, Gurvinder Sandher said: “As ever I am proud of what we achieved, working in partnership to take arts and culture to the heart of a rural community.
“I am grateful to everyone who came and supported us despite the weather.”
The event was also supported by Kent Equality Cohesion Council and Same Sky Arts, Wrotham Parish Council and Arts Council England.
