Kent Police have arrested 11 suspected illegal immigrants in Westerham near Sevenoaks this morning.

Officers were called by a member of the public at 9.35am reporting a large group of men seen in Pilgrims Way on the outskirts of town.

A police spokesman said 11 men, whose nationalities are not known, had been detained and will be taken for questioning.

The immigration authorities have been informed and the police said it is unknown whether more suspects are at large at this moment in time.
