The Favourite, the period drama movie shot partly in Kent, won the best actress at last night's Oscars.
Olivia Colman pipped Glenn Close to the post at the star studded evening.
Donning a British racing green dress and dark decorated shawl, the Peep Show star told the audience: “It's genuinely quite stressful - this is hilarious – I got an Oscar.
“I have to thank lots of people.
If I forget anybody, I’ll find you later and give you a massive snog, I’m sorry if I forget anybody.”
Partially shot at the National Trust property in Knole park in Sevenoaks, Yorgos Lanthimos's film also picked up gongs for best British film, costume design, original screenplay, make-up and hair and production design last year.
Olivia Colman, who won best actress for her performance as Queen Anne in the Baftas, also saw her co-star Rachel Weisz win best supporting actress.
Set in the early 18th century, the film follows the troubles of Queen Anne, who occupies the throne.
Yet due to ill health and her mercurial temper, the country is governed by her close friend Lady Sarah.
