Two people have been arrested after police discovered a knife and other stolen items.
Officers were on patrol in the early hours of Friday morning when they stopped a man.
He was searched and police discovered two knives, along with bank cards, a driving licence and house keys which are all thought to be stolen.
The suspect, a 29-year-old of no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a knife in public and theft.
A 28-year-old woman of no fixed address was also arrested in connection with the theft.
Both have been released pending further investigation.
A spokesman from Kent Police said: "Kent Police takes a zero-tolerance approach to anyone carrying weapons and these arrests are the latest in an ongoing crackdown on knife crime across the county, including associated offences, such as supplying drugs."
