A large pig became the talk of the town after it was spotted wandering around a cemetery just yards from a busy main road.
The barnyard animal was found in Bluebell Cemetery, near Badgers Mount and Halstead village in Sevenoaks.
It was spotted wandering around the entrance, close to the busy dual carriageway and the Orpington by-pass, shortly after noon yesterday.
A stunned passer-by said: "I called the police about it as a charity informed me that it was a risk to the public as it was right beside the road and no one else seemed to be around at the cemetery.
"I went back half-an-hour later after reporting it and the pig was still there - and there was another one too."
Local residents took to social media to speculate as to where the grunter came from with some pointing to nearby farms whilst others suggested a garden centre.
But so far efforts to trace the home of the hog have proved unsuccessful.
One local resident said the pig's presence was a regular occurrence and the farmyard critter could quite often be seen wandering "along the dual carriageway".
Whilst others pointed out the dangers of tiny trotters traipsing along the highways and urged people to contact the police if spotted.
Another added: "The cemetery has been in touch with the farmer but had no joy.
"Also new fencing has been put up but they obviously have found another entrance.
"The cemetery are very concerned with this situation and will have to find out where they are coming in now."
A spokesman for Kent Police said: "At 12.32pm on Sunday December 26 police received a report that a stray pig had been seen in Old London Road, Badgers Mount.
"Due to concerns the animal could be a traffic hazard, a patrol searched the area however it was not located."
