A 'horrific' crash involving a car and a lorry caused a road a whopping six-hour closure.

The two vehicles collided on the A225 Dartford Road in Sevenoaks, between Vine Court Road to Mount Harry Road, at around 7.45am.

Commuters on twitter described the crash as "horrific" and "nasty."

Police blocked off the road heading northbound and didn't life the closure until shortly after 2pm.

Fortunately nobody was seriously hurt. One of the drivers sustained minor injuries.
