An elderly man has been taken to a London hospital this evening after being hit by car in Sevenoaks.

The air ambulance landed in a field just after 5pm following the crash on Otford Road.

Police have closed the road, and the man was taken to a London hospital by ambulance.

A police spokesman said: "Officers are currently at the scene and crews from Secamb and the air ambulance have also attended."

Officers are still conducting enquiries at the scene.
