A drunk given an ASBO by Canterbury magistrates has been jailed after it took him just 10 days to breach it.
Kevin Lusher was charged with breaching his ASBO, two public order offences of threatening behaviour and racially aggravated harassment.
The homeless 44-year-old was arrested in Sevenoaks at just before 10.30am on February 14. He then made a series of racist comments to a black police officer arresting him.
Magistrates in Sevenoaks jailed him for 100 days after he admitted the offences.
Lusher and another man, Judd Osbourne, were handed ASBOs by Canterbury magistrates following a string of drunken incidents, much of it involving the harassment of shoppers.
The Canterbury court heard he had been throwing racial insults at two Asian men walking through the Whitefriars.
He was warned by a security guard and responded by punching the man in the face.
The court had been told all his problems stemmed from his alcohol abuse. He was granted bail, but was arrested the next day when he beached the conditions.
