A meeting is to be held to gauge opinion on a new hospital and doctor's surgery in Edenbridge.
It takes place at the Eden Centre in Four Elms Road from 4pm to 5pm on Monday, March 13 ans part of a public consultation on the future of health services in the town.
The shake-up comes in response to issues with the existing GP surgery and community hospital, which are almost 100 years old.
The NHS West Kent Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), Edenbridge Medical Practice and Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust have put four options on the table.
The preferred one of all three organisations is a combined hospital and surgery in a new building on a new site. It would have space for extra services including day care beds, but no inpatient beds.
Other options include demolishing the existing hospital, off Mill Hill, and rebuilding it in the same place.
At a previous meeting, members of the public raised concerns about alternatives for people needing inpatient beds, parking for visitors and over the two potential new sites being in the green belt.
Ian Ayes, Accountable Officer of NHS West Kent CCG said: “It is an exciting, unique, opportunity for NHS organisations to work together to improve health services that will benefit people now and future generations.
"We need to hear from local people whether you agree and any problems you can see.
“We hope that the timing of this meeting will mean that parents can come along after picking up their children from school, we’ve kept it shorter than the others for that reason.”
Further public meetings will be held at the WI Hall in Station Road from 11.30am to 1pm on Saturday, March 25 and Edenbridge Leisure Centre in Stangrove Park from 6.30pm to 8.30pm on Tuesday, April 25.
The consultation will run until April 26. For more click here.
