People from Sevenoaks, Broadstairs and Bexley in court after arrest on day of Tommy Robinson rally

Two men from Kent have appeared in court charged with violent disorder.

The group were arrested in London on Saturday, July 14, 2018, the day a rally in support of English Defence League leader Tommy Robinson and US President Donald Trump took place.

Several violent clashes broke out on the day resulting in arrests.

Nine people appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with violent disorder, including Kevin Porter, 55, of Hills Lane, Sevenoaks and Nik Krunic, 56, of Park Avenue in Broadstairs.

Three others from Bexley, Crayford and Sidcup were also in the dock.

The men were released on unconditional bail to appear at Southwark Crown Court on Wednesday, February 5.
