Motorists are warned of rush-hour delays due to an overturned van on the M20.

One lane of the coastbound carriageway is closed between junction 2 for Wrotham/Brands Hatch and junction 3 for the M26.

No injuries have been reported and the van awaits recovery.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 4.13pm to a report that a van had overturned on the M20 coastbound between junctions 2 and 3.

"No injuries have been reported but one lane is currently closed."

There was also an accident involving a lorry and two cars on the coastbound carriageway at junction 4, for the A228 at Leybourne.

All lanes re-opened after shortly before 6pm - the vehicles were moved to the hard shoulder.
