Some people love their jobs.
Muriel Taylor is one of them. She has been with the same Sevenoaks company for an astonishing 70 years!
Mrs Taylor works in the admin section for Pennard Vets, which also has branches in Maidstone, Allington and Sevenoaks.
She began with the company as an office junior straight from school in January 1950.
On Wednesday, her colleagues laid on a lunch party at the premises in Eardley Road to celebrate her seven decades.
Mrs Taylor was Murial Fuller when she joined the company.
She married her husband Robert when she was 23 and the couple had two children, Karen and Kevin. Mr Taylor passed way 20 years ago, but Mrs Taylor still lives in the same house in Seal where she has been throughout her married life.
She said: There have been a lot of changes at the firm over the years, but I still love working here. It gives me something to do an gets me out of the house."
When she began at Pennard, the firm cared for large animals - the horses, sheep and cattle on local farms. Now they are exclusively for small creatures.
Despite all the changes, the company still has in the staffroom the desk where Mrs Taylor first worked 70 years ago.
Although she reduced her hours to just two days a week 10 years ago - when she was 75 - she has no intention of retiring any time soon.
Business manager Beverly Iren said: "We would be gutted if she ever did call it a day. She's the Queen of our business!"
