Traffic was held up earlier - to remove cows from the M25.
Drivers looked on in surprise as one of Britain's busiest motorways ground to a halt for the straying bovines.
The stretch was closed both ways between J5 and J6 near Westerham earlier today.
The herd has now been safely moved from the carriageway.
