There were long delays on the A21 due to an overturned van and trailer.

The accident is believed to have happened at around 9am between the M25/A25, Westerham and Sevenoaks turn-off, and the A225, Hildenborough and Sevenoaks turn-off.

The A21 Sevenoaks bypass coastbound was closed and traffic was stopped for almost three hours.

As of 12.10pm, lanes were reopened although delays in the area remained.

Police officers attended and there were no injuries reported.
