A pedestrian has been left seriously injured after being hit by a car.

Emergency services are currently at the scene of the collision on the A25 in Borough Green.

The road is closed between the junctions with Fen Pond Road and Western Road.

A police spokesman said: "A pedestrian was seriously injured in the incident and officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are carrying out inquiries at the scene."

Motorists are advised to expect delays.
