A predatory pensioner who abused children over four decades has been jailed for more than 10 years.
Seventy-three-year-old Freddy Walter repeatedly attacked one child during the 1970s and 1980s, before he targeted another victim between 2008 and 2010.
Walter, of Stoneyfield, Edenbridge, was arrested after concerns were raised in December 2015.
He refused to comment during interview but in court admitted two counts of indecent assault, gross indecency with a child, assault by penetration and causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
At Maidstone Crown Court he was sentenced to 11 years and two months in prison.
He received an additional two years on licence as well as a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, which makes it an offence for him to have contact with children.
Det Con Ben Clatworthy, of Kent Police’s Public Protection Unit, said: "Walter manipulated and abused children for his own gratification and they will live with these memories for the rest of their lives.
"This is a significant sentence which reflects the trauma and suffering his victims have endured and I would like to pay tribute to their bravery and courage, which has been key to ensuring justice has now been served.
"If you have been a victim of any sexual offence it is never too late to report this to police. We will always treat any information with the upmost confidence and sensitivity."
