A crash involving several vehicles on the approach into Kent has seen traffic grind to a halt this morning.

The pile up between junction 6 of the M25 for Godstone and junction 5 of the M26 for Sevenoaks initially saw two lanes closed.

Police and paramedics are on the scene and a third lane has now been opened but drivers are still warned to expect delays.

Full details of any injuries are not yet known but police and South East Coast Ambulance Service have been approached for more information.
