An open-water swimming organisation has held its first-ever event, especially for dogs.
TriSwim hosted the event at Chipstead Lake in Lake View Road, near Sevenoaks, on Sunday afternoon, with 15 pooches and their owners taking part.
Laura Ansell is the founder of TriSwim.
She said: “Watching our furry companions bounding with joy, chasing balls and embracing the water alongside their human counterparts, we couldn't help but wonder why we hadn't orchestrated a doggy-swim sooner!
“TriSwim takes immense pride in pioneering the only local venue where people and their four-legged friends can fully immerse themselves in the thrill of open-water swimming.”
Due to its success, TriSwim is already planning its next Doggy Swim for Sunday, May 19, from 5pm to 7pm.
Bookings can be made here.
TriSwim also holds open-water swimming sessions just for humans. They run on Mondays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 5pm to 8pm, with some morning sessions on weekends from 7am to 9am.
