Young people can enjoy the thrill of the big screen when a pop up cinema comes to Dunton Green.

Sevenoaks District Council is showing the Hollywood blockbuster ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ at the Pavilion, off London Road, next month.

The film, which is rated as a 12A will be shown on Friday, December 4 from 6pm.

Entrance is £3 and tickets will be available on the door or they can be reserved by calling the Council on 01732 227176 or by emailing communities@sevenoaks.gov.uk

Refreshments will be on sale on the night.

Cllr Roddy Hogarth, Sevenoaks District Council’s cabinet member for community development, said: “The pop up cinema is in response to calls from young people who asked for more local, affordable activities in Dunton Green.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron has some great reviews, and is possibly the ultimate superhero movie, so is the natural choice for our first ever pop up cinema.”

If the event is a success, the council said it will run more pop up cinema showings in Dunton Green in the New Year.
