Prayers have been said for the victims of a Christmas Eve tragedy, which saw a car plough through the front of a Costa coffee shop, killing one woman and seriously injuring four others.
The fatal crash happened at Costa in The Green, Westerham, near Sevenoaks, just after 10.30am and a woman in her 70s was killed.
Police said an inquest into the woman's death is unlikely to be opened until the New Year. Officers are still investigating the crash and are appealing for witnesses (scroll down for contact details).
Westerham Congregational Church, in Fullers Hill, holds a monthly informal worship, known as Café Church, at the branch of Costa and has sent prayers and thoughts to all involved.
A statement posted on the church's website said: "Café Church is due to return in the New Year, but on Christmas Eve there was a fatal road accident when a car veered into the café, killing one of the customers and injuring several others.
"We offer our deepest sympathies to all those directly affected, including the staff members. You are in our thoughts and prayers."
Café Church is described as a monthly informal time of worship, with lively presentations, video clips, quizzes and discussions.
Floral tributes have also been laid outside the shop.
On Christmas Eve an Audi, driven by an 88-year-old man, crashed into several cars before ploughing into the side window of the cafe.
Two men and two women were taken to hospital with serious injuries while another woman suffered minor injuries.
Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit is investigating the crash. Officers have asked anyone with information to call 01622 798538 quoting reference 24-378 or email sciu.td@kent.pnn.police.uk
