A petition has been started to try and stop people falling from a bridge following the tragic death of a woman yesterday.
More than 1,000 people have already signed the petition to put high guard rails a bridge in Sevenoaks, which crosses the A21 Sevenoaks Bypass.
Yesterday, a woman fell from the bridge at around 6am and died at the scene.
Last July Angela Skinner, from Tunbridge Wells, died after a similar incident.
The petition reads: "There are Samaritans signs on the bridge but we need to do more to protect everyone.
"By introducing high guard rails people will not be able to jump."
The petition is available to view here.
A spokesperson from Highways England, which is responsible for the bridge, said: "Safety is our top priority at Highways England and we are saddened to learn of Tuesday's incident. We are always open to ideas which could improve safety and we will see what additional steps are possible at this location."
If you've been affected by any of the issues raised in this article, you can contact the Samaritans helpline on 116 123, 24 hours a day.
