A rape investigation has been launched after a woman reported she was attacked at a cemetery.
The victim was visiting the site next to Church Street, in Edenbridge, when it is alleged she was physically and sexually assaulted by a man she did not know.
The suspect is described as being quite tall, of slim build, and was wearing a coat which may have had a fur hood.
The incident allegedly happened between 9pm and 9.30pm on Saturday (November 9) but was reported to the police on Tuesday (November 12).
Officers are investigating to establish the full circumstances, including forensic analysis at the scene, checking CCTV and extensive house-to-house inquiries.
Motorists with dashcams who may have been near the area, as well as businesses and residents with doorbell cameras or CCTV, are also asked to check for any important footage.
