A motorcyclist was tragically killed in a crash with two cars earlier.
The biker – a man in his 40s – was pronounced dead at the scene following the accident on the A225 between Shoreham and Lullingstone yesterday.
Police were called shortly before 1.45pm after the man’s white Ducati Hypemotard – which was heading north – collided with a silver Jaguar S-Type and silver Mercedes SL500 travelling in the opposite direction.
Paramedics also attended but the biker – who was accompanied by two other motorcyclists – could not be saved.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are carrying out enquiries and are also urging witnesses and anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to contact them.
