Two cars are being recovered after they skidded off an icy road and down a hill.

Emergency services were called to the incidents at the embankment in Ide Hill Road, Sevenoaks, this morning.

Police were called at around 10:35am today (January 9) and officers were joined at the scene by four fire engines and the ambulance service.

Pictures show snowy and icy conditions as firefighters assist with the rescue.

There are no reported injuries.

Road closures remain in place to recover the cars.
