After Michael Fallon retained his seat in the Parliamentary election, the Conservatives have triumphed in the elections for Sevenoaks council.
The party has taken 49 of the 54 seats up for grabs - representing a 64% share of the vote.
This is two more seats than the Conservatives previously held.
Liberal Democrats have two seats, while Labour, Ukip and an independent candidate took one each.
Residents living in all 26 wards voted for between one and three representatives depending on the population of their area.
Those elected will form the full council, which is responsible for making decisions with the help of paid officers.
Councillors serve a four-year term and in Sevenoaks they are elected all at once, unlike Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells where they are elected one-third at a time.
The counts began on Friday May 8 at 2.45pm, and were expected to last until Midnight.
