Six fire engines spent nearly 16 hours tackling a house blaze overnight.
Crews were sent to Church Field in Sevenoaks just after 8.30pm yesterday (December 26).
Initially four fire engines were in attendance. However, by 11pm this had increased to six with a height vehicle.
A significant amount of smoke was coming from the property.
People living nearby were advised to keep their windows and doors closed. The warning has since been lifted.
At 8am today (December 27), the fire service reported that crews made “good progress” overnight.
One fire engine was left at the scene to dampen down any remaining hotspots.
Almost 16 hours later, the blaze was successfully extinguished at around 12.30pm.
There were no reported injuries and the cause is not yet known.
