An accident has forced motorway authorities to close one lane on the M25 anticlockwise.
The collision has taken place between Junction 4 (Badger's Mount) and Junction 3 (Swanley interchange).
At least three people are said to have been injured and are being treated by emergency services.
Highways England confirmed lane one is closed, with signals sent to the lane to warn drivers to move out of it.
Traffic is building up following the lane closure, with motorists advised to proceed with caution and use other routes if possible.
Police confirmed they were called to the scene just before 4.30pm.
A spokeswoman said: "Initial reports suggest three people have received injuries not thought to be life threatening and are being treated by ambulance crews.
"Officers are on route to provide assistance."
