An 80's TV fitness star treated residents of Weald Heights care home in Sevenoaks to a special exercise, as part of Care UK's 'Let's Get Physical' initiative.
The virtual session was run by Diana Moran, better known as The Green Goddess.
Ms Moran use to host 'Wake up and shape up' every morning on the BBC and did so in her trademark green leotard.
The activities varied as residents and team members alike took part in a series of low impact exercise routines, designed to improve flexibility and blood circulation.
Maria Covington, manager of the Bourchier Close care home, said: "We understand that trying new activities can positively impact resident's mental and emotional wellbeing, as well as improve their physical health too."
"This can lead to greater self-confidence, which encourages older people to embrace their later years with gusto, retain their independence, and lead fulfilling lives."
Staff entertained residents by getting fully into their roles and dressing in 80's workout gear for the event.
The 1980's small screen star is supporting Care UK with this initiative to help get more residence more active nationally.
Ms Moran said: Regardless of age, keeping active is what keeps us young. Whether it's walking a little further on your everyday stroll, or exercising a little longer, every day brings a new possibility."
"Even for those less mobile, chair based exercises can be just as beneficial."
The home cares for around 68 over 65s. It can support up to 80 residents and provide specialist care for people with Alzheimers and other forms of dementia.
Team members at Weald Heights will hope to participate in more led exercise activities in the future to help bring more joy those at the establishment.
Ms Covington said: "Many residents remember the Green Goddess from their younger years and seeing everyone dressed up really did put a smile on resident's faces. We'll certainly be taking part in this for weeks to come."
