Residents are being told to keep their doors and windows shut after a blaze at a farm in West Kingsdown.

Six fire engines were scrambled to Pells Lane at about 12.30pm.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service said the fire involved a number of outbuildings and warned people in the area to keep windows and doors closed.

A fire service spokesman added: "Smoke is moving in the direction of the A20, please drive carefully if on the roads nearby."
