A woman stuck inside her car in a water-filled ditch has been rescued.

The lady was trapped inside the vehicle after it careered off the road in Edenbridge last night.

Firefighters cut the woman free following the incident in Clinton Road at 10.30pm.

She was taken to hospital by ambulance after fire crews used hydraulic rescue equipment to release the casualty.

Her condition is unknown. No other vehicles are believed to have been involved.
