Mike Conway concluded the GP2 series in disappointing fashion at Monza this weekend.
The Italian round of the championship saw Sevenoaks’ Conway finish 13th in race one and lasted just three laps in race two.
Conway finished down the order in the opening race but on Sunday he was battling it out for the top positions during the early stages of the race.
That was until race one winner Lucas di Grassi smashed into the back of Conway’s Trident Racing machine and put him and fellow racer Bruno Senna into a spin.
It was a disappointing end to a frustrating season for Conway who ended the series in 12th place with 20 points.
