Manager Micky Collins has left Sevenoaks by mutual consent with the club fighting relegation.
Oaks' 4-0 thumping at Ashford yesterday was their fourth defeat on the spin and leaves them a point off the foot of Isthmian South East.
A minimum of two clubs will be relegated this season, and it could be as many as three, with Oaks in trouble after losing 10 of their past 12 league games.
Collins, the former Erith & Belvedere manager, enjoyed a successful eight-year reign at Greatness Park.
He transformed a team who had just finished bottom of Southern Counties East into champions within four years of his appointment, celebrating title glory in 2018.
Promotion took them into the Isthmian League for the first time in their history and Collins also oversaw the club's best-ever runs in the FA Cup, FA Vase and FA Trophy, as well as winning the SCEFL Challenge Cup.
"After an amazing eight seasons, Micky and I have spoken and we feel it's time to make a change," said chairman Paul Lansdale in a club statement.
"It really has been an amazing journey and one the whole club will remember for many years to come.
"Micky has put 'little old' Sevenoaks Town FC on the map and his support has always been unquestionable and unconditional.
"Micky is, and will continue to be, a much-loved member of the STFC family, and, despite this being a very disappointing announcement, Micky will always be very welcome at the club and fully deserves all the recognition for the amazing work and endless hours he has put into the success of the last few years.
"On behalf of the whole club, I want to wish Micky all the very best for the future and a massive thank you for eight amazing years."
