JOHN JAMES became the third Kent managerial casualty in a week when he quit as Sevenoaks boss on Wednesday.
Following Tuesday night's 3-1 defeat to Slade Green, James called time on his four-year reign during which the club established itself in the Kent League Premier Division.
James said: "I've enjoyed my time but I just feel the club needs someone new to come in and freshen things up. It's an awful lot of pressure that you won't understand if you haven't done the job and it's just time for a change."
Assistant boss Julian Lee will continue to take training until James' replacement is found.
