A teenage hip hop artist is working towards the release of his second album.
Callum Milgate, of Scrapsgate Road, Minster, is being supported by Sheppey rapper Moses McGeorge.
The 16-year-old rapper performs as GingaC which was a nickname given to him at school.
His debut 17-track mix tape, Still a Kid, was launched online two weeks ago and Moses says it’s doing really well and is getting a lot of downloads.
Callum, who writes all his songs, has been into music since he was nine and is off to study the subject at Canterbury College in September.
As well as Moses, he is also inspired by American hip hop artist Mac Miller and says his passion in life is music.
He said: “I write about having a good time and like to put a positive message in my songs.
“I’m concentrating on my music now and trying to book shows and also working on my second mix tape.”
Callum will be joining Moses for a show he is organising to support the victims of the arson attack in Marine Parade, Sheerness in June.
It will take place at the Old House at Home pub in the town on Saturday, August 10, from 10pm.
They will be performing with other artists Rastickz, Negus Esh, J Status and DJ Loada.
