A holiday park and one of Sheppey’s beaches are featuring in adverts for a freeview TV channel.
Nutts Farm Caravan Park, Shellness Road, Leysdown, had a camera crew from E4 along to film the clips for a day back in July.
They started being broadcast at the beginning of this month and there are about six different ones to be seen. The idents – adverts to promote a TV channel using its logo – feature a little purple E4 character in a number of scenarios.
As well as the park, there are also views of Leysdown beach.
Nutts Farm sales and services manager John Sissons said it came about as the park is listed for use as a film location.
He added that all the caravans which can be seen are privately owned and the production team gained permission from all of them before filming.
“We are very pleased with the results,” he said.
“It’s nice to see Sheppey in a good light.”
It’s not the first time the Island has featured on film – parts of the blockbuster The Sweeney starring Ray Winstone and singer Plan B were captured at Warden Bay and Seaview holiday parks and last month we reported how the new commercial for the Audi RS 6 Avant was filmed at Sheerness Docks.
