Police launched an investigation after a man's body was found at a property.

Emergency crews were called to Queensway, Sheerness, at 2.21pm yesterday after 'concerns for the well-being' of a person there.

A 25-year-old woman who was at the property was taken to hospital to be assessed.

The area around the house was cordoned off as officers investigated.

It's not believed the man, who was in his 30s, died in suspicious circumstances.

A witness, who asked not to be named, said he was visiting a family friend when he saw the large emergency services response.
