POLICE investigating the fatal stabbing of 18-year-old Christopher Alaneme in Sheerness on Friday have released descriptions of three men they want to talk to in connection with the murder, which is being treated as racially motivated.
The first man is described as white, of medium or stocky build, and around 5ft 10in tall. He is thought to be aged between 18 and 25 and was clean shaven with short dark hair that was gelled forward.
The second man is also white, of stocky build, up to 6ft tall, around 18 to 25 years old, clean shaven with very short, cropped dark hair and a tattoo on the inside of his right forearm that runs from his wrist to elbow.
The third man is white, of slim build, about 6ft, again between 18 and 25, clean shaven with chiselled features and short, mousey coloured hair, possibly ginger, with noticeable sideburns.
Police want to talk to the three men, who they think may have connections with the London area, as they believe they may have information about the attacks.
The dead teenager was also known as Christian Roberts or Chris to his friends. He lived locally in Sheerness.
Detectives say they are treating the attack on Christopher as a racially motivated crime.
Another man who was also stabbed is still undergoing treatment in hospital.
Police were called at 11.55pm on Friday 21 April after a disturbance was reported in High Street Sheerness near to its junction with Bridge Road.
They found a white man, with stab wounds. His condition in hospital is described as stable and not life threatening.
Officers also found Christopher, who is black. He had also been stabbed. Christopher died later that night in hospital.
Two men continue to be questioned by Kent Police after being arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
One was arrested soon after the attack. The other was arrested on Sunday. Detectives were granted more time by Maidstone magistrates last night to continue questioning one of the men.
